Pool Full Lifeguard (3-day) training course

This training course has no prerequisites and is suitable for anyone seeking the qualifications needed to work as a Pool Lifeguard in Western Australia.
Successful completion of this SISSS00111 Skill Set will result in you receiving a Statement of Attainment that includes the following units of competence:

HLTAID003/11 – Provide First Aid
SISCAQU002 – Perform Basic Water Rescue
SISCAQU006 – Supervise clients in aquatic locations
SISCAQU007 – Perform advanced water rescues
PUAEME001B – Provide emergency care
PUAEME003C – Administer oxygen in an emergency situation

In order to obtain a job as a Pool Lifeguard you will need to hold the minimum industry standard of this skill set (SISSS00111).

Delivery Mode: Combination 4-6hrs Online plus 24hrs Face to Face

Course duration: 3 days, 24 hours

Price: $561.20 AUD
Minimum numbers required for a group booking is five.

This Pool Lifeguard training program is a convenient and intensive course that can save you
time and money. It provides you with all the necessary industry qualifications required to
work as a Pool Lifeguard in an aquatic centre in Western Australia. This is an entry-level
qualification that can lead to an exciting career in the aquatic recreation industry.

Course Structure

• Day 1 HLTAID003/11 Provide first aid
• Day 2-3 Facility Analysis, Scanning, Hazards, Enforcing rules, CPR with
oxygen and AED, basic water rescues, Basic and Advanced Water Rescues

Location: The course is conducted at various locations within WA.

Minimum Age Requirements: 16 years old

Fee Includes: Pool entry, learning, and physical resources, statement of attainment
