The objectives of this course are to develop a student’s knowledge and understanding of:
- Accident investigation and prevention strategies
- Risk management
- Water rescue techniques
- Safety equipment maintenance and inspection procedures
In this life-saving course, learn how to identify and prevent aquatic accidents/emergencies while developing the skills and knowledge necessary to respond quickly and provide appropriate emergency care. This life-saving course will teach you everything you need to know, from personal survival skills to how to conduct water supervision and rescues safely and efficiently. Completing this program will take 14 hours (the requalification course is 4 hours).
